Chrysler's retro-styled compact motorcar, the PT Cruiser, comes equipped with a works alarm step to grip humans from tampering with it. Locate the override button on the box -- either a black or red button, depending on the year of the PT Cruiser -- but don't press it yet.3. Put the key in the ignition and turn the key so that the battery is on, but the engine doesn't start.
