Third Generation

The third generation was released in 2001. The wagon version was dropped for a hatchback. The third generation included various new standard features intended to improve Hyundai's image as not just an economy car.

Fourth Generation



The early begetting of the Elantra was released in 1991. It was designed to alternate the Hyundai Excel. It competed with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.


Second Generation


The moment age was released in 1996. It included contemporary styling, and was offered in a sedan and station wagon version.


The Hyundai Elantra is a mid-sized sedan produced by South Korean Hyundai Autos owing to 1991. The Elantra has mirrored Hyundai's ascent into the American Car mart, changing its styling from a economy compact machine to a bulk and similarly priced Rival to similarly sized Japanese and American autos.

First Generation




The fourth generation was released in 2007. It had better fuel economy and more safety features than its predecessors. A hybrid version is being planned.


Awards and Recognition


The Elantra has received numerous awards. It was awarded Consumer Awards Top Pick in 2008. It also received an "excellent" rating in product reliability.
