1. Settle on your safety glasses. Cover the trim remover or screwdriver under the plastic trim and jar it environing until you quality the windscreen clip. If the windshield moves even slightly, pull the trim off and reinstall. If your windshield still shakes after reinstallation, your urethane seal might need replacing.


Pull one site of the trim. You may need your trim cutter to jar a piece loose. Pull the entire length of the trim to separate it from the windshield frame.


3. Clean around the trim with a damp cloth and dish soap. Remove any loose debris from the area, including rocks and dirt that could have entered the area and might prevent you from tightly securing new trim. Scrape off any old pieces of trim.


4. Dry the area. Insert an end of the new windshield trim into the track from exactly where the last trim was removed. Secure it firmly to the groove.


5. Push the remaining trim into the track until the entire area is covered.


6. Reinsert the windshield clip to the lock position. Your trim is now secured.


7. Push gently on your windshield, ensuring that it doesn't move around. Carefully pull it absent. Don't scratch the glass.2.
