4. Attach the cassette adapter to the XM Radio cradle. The cassette adapter must be plugged into the cradle in the "AUDIO OUT" jack. Put the supplied cassette component into the cassette player in your car stereo. If you do not have a cassette player in your car stereo, you can purchase an FM transmitter that will allow you to play your XM Radio over an FM radio signal.


5. Attach the power adapter to the XM Radio cradle. The power adapter is inserted in to the "DC IN" jack on the left side of the cradle. After it is attached to the cradle, insert the other end of the power adapter into your cigarette lighter or 12-volt power outlet.


6. Attach the XM Radio antenna to the XM Radio cradle and install the antenna on to the exterior of your car. The antenna must be plugged into the "ANT IN" jack on the right side of the XM Radio cradle. The other end of the antenna contains a magnet and must be placed on the front or rear exterior of your automobile--on the hood, roof or trunk. The antenna cable must be run under under carpeting, between seats, behind the dashboard or through your trunk to attach it to the exterior of your car where you desire.
