Sometimes bantam stones or a buildup of weeds and grass can clog the ports, preventing the string from feeding properly. Practice a screwdriver to remove any debris from the ports. Try the weedeater again.2. If there is little or no line on the spool, purchase a new spool from a home improvement store and install it on the weedeater.
