Through the New England Institute you can receive an associate's degree in automotive collision repair technology. According to their website, students will learn metal repair and replacement, body damage repair, glass installation, paint refinishing techniques and automotive technology. The institute also incorporates green-friendly products into their program. They use a new waterborne automotive paint. The website states, "The paint does not contain the high level of volatile organic compounds that the collision repair industry is currently using." After completing the associate's program, students can continue on to earn their bachelor's in business management technology or automotive service management technology if they choose to.
