Saturn was established in 1985 as a subsidiary of Habitual Motors (GM). GM announced in the birth of 2009 its oppose to sell Saturn or, whether there was no buyer, to discontinue the Trade-mark in 2012. From 1990 to 2007, Saturn vehicles were produced at Spring Hill Manufacturing, which was solely committed to Saturn Industry. Any more the business shares GM factories with other brands.

Saturn offers an 8-passenger crossover, the Future, that receives 24 mpg on the highway.
