Repair Sheet Metal Rust

Rusty sheet metal is a hot water you can solve.

Instructions


1. Free the earth of debris and obstructions as essential. Remove all objects that might interfere with your access to the phase metal.


2. Wipe the area clean with a rag to remove residue and sanding dust.4. Seal the sheet metal by applying a metal primer to the surface. Spray on the primer and cover the entire area.


Scrub the environment with a lighter grit sandpaper, such as 200- or 300-grit metal abrasive sandpaper, to remove the rust. Abide scrubbing until all the rust is removed. Or practice a rust Emigration naval jello to the rusted surface and scrub it with a steel wool pad to remove the rust.3.


Allow the primer to dry as indicated on the instructions for your particular primer. Apply a top coat to the area. A metal, exterior paint is the best option. Spray on the paint, covering the entire area, and allow it to dry completely before use.
