Replace A 1999 Rodeo Sway Bar Bushing

Sway bar bushings insulate the 1999 Isuzu Rodeo's sway bar from the subframe. Without working individuality bushings, the sway bar is unable to perform its craft, and damage to the bar and the Rodeo's subframe ensue. The bushings Worm-hole, crack and crumble over age, leaving the bar and subframe exposed to damage. Instructions


1.3. Slide under the Isuzu Rodeo's front extreme with your socket allot. Extract the front bolts from both sway bar brackets using the socket place. Turn off the engine.


2. Position the two shove chocks against the front and rear of one of the Rodeo's back tires to clench the SUV stationary during the repair procedure.


Initiate the Rodeo and operate the front tires onto the ramps. Community the Rodeo's transmission in stadium. Fix the Rodeo's emergency brake.


4. Loosen both of the rear bolts on the Isuzu Rodeo's sway bar brackets until the bar drops 1/2 inch.


5. Push the Isuzu Rodeo's dated sway bar bushings outside of the brackets manually. Slide the Rodeo's new sway bar bushings into place manually.


6. Reinstall the Isuzu Rodeo's front sway bar bolts with the socket set. Retighten the rear bolts.


7. Drive the Rodeo off the ramps after moving the wheel chocks and releasing the parking brake.
