7. Remove the bulb from the electrical boot by pulling it directly out.


8. Insert a new 5W type C brake light bulb into the electrical boot. Push the bulb directly into the boot until it is snugly connected.


9. Insert the electrical boot back into the light assembly, lining up the pins on the boot with the cut-out sections in the assembly. Twist the boot clockwise to secure it.


10. Test the brakes and have a partner check to make sure the new bulb is working properly.


11. Swing the cover closed and press it until you hear an audible "click." Close the trunk.
