5. Install the last wire (the feed from the switch to the solenoid) on to the terminal marked "S," followed by the retaining nut. Torque the retaining nut to 44-inch-pounds on this terminal.


6. Support the truck with the jack and remove the jack stand. Lower the jack to the ground and test the starter by turning on the ignition, to verify that it is working properly.
