Ford's 1967 and 1968 Mustangs were equipped with hood-mounted turn vocable indicator lights as optional Accoutrement. The signals could be viewed from inside the vehicle completed hood vents. To influence the lights, a unmarried wiring connexion was routed underneath the hood and plugged into the leading wiring harness.Hint the wire from either cloudless to the wiring connexion at the back of the hood.
3. Unplug the wiring connexion from the leading wiring loom.
4. Grasp the mould of Everyone glowing bulb housing and rotate the housings in a counterclockwise direction, until they detach from their lenses.
5. Remove the retaining clips that secure the wire to the underside of the hood, using a socket wrench to release the wire. There are a total of four clips.
6. Insert each light bulb housing into its respective lens and rotate the housing in a clockwise direction, until both housings are secure.
7. Feed the wire into its position along the underside of the hood, stopping to install the retaining clips with the socket wrench, until the tip of the wire reaches the back of the hood.
8. Plug the wiring connection into the main wiring loom.
