10. Hold the glass in place and use the approapriate socket wrench to remove the regulator. The regulator is the metal arm holding the bottom of the window glass in place. It is attached to the bottom-most 'X' shaped arms. Remove the regulator.


Replace door panel, door panel trim, armrest, speaker and speaker cover. Replace the negative battery terminal and lower the hood.


11. Use a pencil to mark the location of the gear on the power window motor. Remove the power window motor mounting bolts and remove the motor from the door. Inspect the gear on the motor for grease and lubricate if necessary. If the motor does not work after greasing it must be replaced.12.
