Exercise G2 Caliper Dye

Instructions
1. Loosen the wheels' lug nuts. Up thrust the vehicle with a floor jack. Stop removing the wheels and place them aside.
2. Remove the brake calipers. The calipers will be held on with two large bolts on the back. Also remove the brake line. This step is not absolutely necessary because you can paint the calipers while they are still on the car, but having the calipers off the car will make them easier to paint and result in a better finish.
3. Remove the bleeder valve for the caliper with a socket. Clean the brake calipers with brake cleaner and a steel wool pad. Remove any excess oil and residue from the calipers. You do not need to strip the old paint from the calipers unless you want to. Do not mix the paint until you are ready to paint the calipers.5. Mask off the brake caliper pistons and seals with masking tape.
If you are leaving the old paint, simply scuff the surfaces with the steel wool. Wipe the calipers down with brake cleaner and then with mineral spirits and a clean, dry rag.4. Mix the G2 paint and the reactor according to the directions on the packaging.
Insert small, rolled-up pieces of tape or paper into the threaded holes for the bleeder valve and the brake line to avoid getting paint in the holes. Brush the paint onto the calipers with the supplied brush, thoroughly coating all of the visible surfaces. Let the paint dry overnight.
6. Clean and detail the area around the calipers. This is a good time to paint any nearby suspension parts and even the metal part of the wheel mounting surface if it has become dirty, chipped and faded over time.
7. Reinstall the caliper bleeder valves. Reinstall the calipers in the reverse of removal. Slide the calipers over the rotor and tighten the caliper bolts. Install the brake line and tighten it with a line wrench. Bleed the brakes according to the manufacturer's procedure for your make and model.
