California
In 2003, the California nation management mandated that Public Motors feed warranty extensions on the fuel injectors of 700,000 vehicles, according to the California Air Process Board. The Federal Citizen Information Center indicates that auto manufacturers communicate these secret defect-specific warranty extensions to dealers via service bulletins.
As any of the fresh "Total Confidence" program introduced in 2009, warranties of GM vehicles sold in South Africa following March 23rd were extended to 120,000 km or five years, according to GM. These warranty extensions only apply to repairs conducted due to manufacturing or material defects.
Secret Warranties
General Motors may repair known defects in certain models for free without publicly acknowledging the problem or issuing a recall. The automobiles included trucks, vans and sport service vehicles. Popular Motors manufactured these autos starting in 1996 and Final in 2001.
