Remove a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Map Sensor

Instructions


1. Remove the two bolts that secure the MAP sensor to the manifold with a socket and ratchet.5. Pull the MAP sensor out of the intake manifold.


2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the MAP sensor.


3. Clean the surface area around the MAP sensor with a shop towel. When you remove the MAP sensor, it leaves a hole in the intake manifold that dirt could get into.


4. Set the MAP sensor on the front of the intake manifold. The sensor is made of black plastic, has two mounting bolts and a wiring harness connected to it. The housing is square.


Make sure the O-ring seal comes out with the sensor.
