5. Place the new water pump in position. Tighten each of the seven mounting bolts, using a torque wrench, applying 15 foot-pounds of torque.


6. Reconnect the hose from the water pump inlet to the water pump. The hose will still be connected to the water pump inlet and simply just needs to be lifted up and placed in the water pump. This requires no bolts. Simply press it in to its connector.


7. Use a wrench to reattach the accessory bracket in the engine. Place the fan back next to the bracket and fix it in place with the retaining bolts. Place the fan belt back onto the fan belt tensioner. Use a nut driver to tighten the tensioner bolt, which will fix the belt in place.


8. Close the drain plug of the radiator. Fill the radiator with coolant. Close the radiator cap securely.


9. Attach the negative battery cable to its terminal post and tighten it. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes as you check for leaks.
