Program The Keyless Entry On The 1995 Trans Sport

5. Reinstall the glove box by pushing it into position and tightening the screws designed to hold it in place. The remote driver's seat that triggers the optional sliding door and the vehicle locks on the 1995 Trans Sport can be reprogrammed by the owner provided needed.


Instructions


1. Remove the glove box of the Trans Sport to access the remote door lock receiver. With the glove box open, take out the screws holding it in place and pull the plastic box away from the dashboard. The receiver module is a black box with several buttons.


2. Place the key into the ignition and rotate it to the "on" position. Do not start the vehicle. On the remote door lock receiver module, hold down the "program" button for ten seconds. The Trans Sport doors will lock and then unlock to signal that programming mode has been activated.


3. Press the "program" button again, but release it immediately. To synchronize a remote control to the vehicle, press any button on the remote. This must be done within ten seconds, or the receiver will exit programming mode.


4. Synchronize additional remotes by pressing any button on each one. The vehicle will acknowledge by cycling the door locks. The receiver will return to normal operation if no buttons are pressed for ten seconds.
