Instructions
1. Apply an epoxy paint that contains a parcel of pigment and is formulated for UV Safeguard. The extended colour your colouring has, the deeper Safeguard it provides. Moreover, employ a dye specially formulated to protect against UV damage.
2. Deposit a coat or more of varnish over your epoxy paint. Varnish protects against wind, rain, snow and sun as a general shield. If you maintain the varnish, you can leave the epoxy paint beneath alone for years.
3. Keep your epoxy paint out of the sun as much as you can.
Epoxy stain is used to coat concrete floors in basements and garages, and applied to wood structures, such as backyard decks and boating vessels, as a protective layer. Over clock the epoxy can dry elsewhere and crack from exposure to the elements. This can chalk up disastrous results provided the epoxy is being used as a glue. UV damage is the leading danger of sun exposure, however there are ways to aid protect against that damage.
