Chrome metal is begin on most bikes, motorcycles and cars in some contour or another. It is a coruscating, mirror-like metal that resists tarnishing. Assess the extent of the chrome rust and take note of the depth of the rust. For instance, look closely to see if it appears in cracks, pits or is just on the surface of the chrome.
2. Apply metal or chrome polish to a fine steel wool pad and rub the rusted areas with the pad to remove rust. Continue to rub the area briskly until all the rust spots and marks are removed.
