Change A Radiator Inside A 1994 Saturn Sw2

The radiator is one of many decisive components in the cooling operation of your 1994 Saturn SW2. The radiator's relevant assistance is to extract heat from the engine coolant by circulating it washed-up the radiator and send the cooled fluid to the engine. The radiator needs to duty properly during close weather or instances of bumper-to-bumper traffic. Radiator failure can consideration the vehicle engine to overheat, which may edge to the engine stalling. Alternate the radiator whether you posses constant it is no longer functioning properly.

Instructions

Removal

Remove the electric cooling fan meeting by disconnecting the temperature sensor connector and the wiring harness from the cooling fan Engine. Remove the top hold-down bolts and lift the cooling fan meeting off the lower mounting brackets. Stir the meeting left and rotate it counterclockwise while lifting upward elapsed the upper radiator hose. Remove the cooling fan meeting from the vehicle.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

3. Remove the air intake duct, upper transmission oil cooler string and upper radiator clamp and hose.

4.1. Extract radiator fluids into a suitable container by opening the petcock at the backside of the radiator.2. You may devoir to loosen the top transmission oil cooler wrinkle for clearance.

5. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and remove the upper radiator attaching nuts and brackets.

6. Up thrust the vehicle with a machine jack and backing it with jack stands.

7. Remove the lower splash shield and lower the transmission cooler limit.

8. Remove the two lower condenser bracket-to-radiator bolts. Apply a wire to relieve condenser to the vehicle.

9. Lower the vehicle and remove the radiator.
