Dodge 3 3 Litre Specs

Everyone cylinder had an aluminium belief and featured overhead-valve architecture. Unleaded 87/89 octane petrol was delivered via a multi-port fuel injection operation. This engine had a Muzzle of 3.66 inches, a stroke of 3.18 inches and a compression ratio of approximately 9-to-1.



Introduced in 1990, the 3.3-liter V-6 Dodge engine was designed by Chrysler and appeared in a figure of clashing cars at the hour, including the Dynasty, the Late Yorker and Shelby Can Am racing cars. The engine was low-revving and growly, creation it well-suited for Chrysler's minivans, which was its valuable exercise.

Configuration

The Dodge 3.3 V-6 was housed in a traditional cast-iron block.


Performance


The 3.3 V-6, for the most division, gradually increased in efficacy throughout its dotage of production. Upon introduction in 1990, it produced 150 horsepower at 4,800 rpm. This was uprated to 162 horsepower in 1994. The engine was extensively revised in 2001, pushing the power to 180 horsepower at 5,000 rpm.


Transmission


The Dodge 3.3-liter V-6's gear ratios were shifted inside a four-speed automatic gearbox.
