2004 Audi A4 Performance

In 2004, the Audi A4 was available in three reason styles with multiple trim levels. All styles were available with Audi's trademarked all-wheel-drive (AWD) course avowed as Quattro. Sedans and Cabriolets were also available with front-wheel guide (FWD). The A4 offered a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and 3.0-liter V-6 efficacy plant.


Horsepower and Torque


The turbocharged dual-overhead camshaft (DOHC) 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder (I-4) engine produced 170 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and 166 foot-pounds of torque at 1,950 rpm. Naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V-6 engines could cause 220 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 221 foot-pounds of torque at 3,200 rpm. Equipped with a six-speed guidebook transmission, Quattro and the 3.0-liter engine, the 2004 Audi A4 sedan could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds and dart the quarter mile in 15.2 seconds.


Features


The 2004 Audi A4 came with a continued record of criterion features. Helping the Audi A4s stick to the sidewalk was a morals four-wheel independent suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, stability driver's seat and all-season tires. An optional sport carton increased the stiffness of the springs by 30 percent.The Audi A4 was an entry-level luxury sports sedan. When the consultation sport is thrown in, it can oftentimes beggarly bad performance at the Gauze pump. The engines in the Audi A4 could fit function and fuel economy. The 1.8-liter engine received an EPA-estimated 21 to 23 miles per gallon megalopolis classifying and 28 to 31 mpg highway classifying. The 3.0-liter engine was estimated for 17 to 20 mpg in the megalopolis and 26 to 28 mpg on the highway.

The ventilated front disc brakes, electronic brake distribution and four-wheel ABS development helped the Audi A4 perform fresh when braking.

S4

The A4 was as well available in a high-performance history declared as the S4. Equipped with a 344 horsepower 4.2-liter V-8 engine, the Audi S4 rapid from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. The S4 was tuned for performance. Larger CD brakes, revised suspension, 18-inch wheels and a lower guide heighth created a powerhouse that could holder the turns.

Fuel Economy
